Der Photo Sharing Dienst Fotki.com bietet zwei verschiedene Accounts - einen kostenlosen Free-Account und einen Premium Account für 30 $ im Jahr.

Der Free Account bietet 50 MB Speicherplatz, der Premium-Account ist nicht limitiert (Vorsicht: Plattenplatz ist unlimitiert, der Traffic ist es nicht - 110 Mbytes für Free Members und 2000 Mbytes für Premium Members am Tag- siehe hier!), werbefrei, bietet Zugang via FTP, die Möglichkeit zum Co-Branding und die Möglichkeit, Bilder als Drucke zu verkaufen (allerdings sinnvoll nur für USA und Kanada, für Europa fallen entsprechend Portokosten an…). Der kostenlose Account kommt in den ersten 14 Tagen zu Testzwecken als Premium-Account, so daß man sich den Gesamtumfang schonmal kostenlos angucken kann.

Fotki hat einen Google Pagerank von 6 und einen Alexarank von 1488.

Upload-Möglichkeiten gibt es zahlreich:

# Fetching from Another Internet Site. To upload an image from another internet site, you don’t need to first download it to your computer. If you know the URL address of a picture, you can send it directly to Fotki.
# Any FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Client (for Premium members only). It is a fast, easy and reliable way to move files from one location to another.
